前兩天，學校高年級舉行了英語演講比賽，我作為班上的代表之一，前去觀摩。
這次比賽無論是主持還是演講，都是全英文的。東看看，西看看，竟來了不少我認識的人。學校的幾位老師來做評委，還有一位外教呢！
比賽開始。首先，是兩位主持人一番簡短的介紹，然后選手開始挨個兒上臺。每個人都有一份課件，上面是演講內容，選手要流暢地背出稿子，才能得高分。他們一口流利的英語，聽得我云里霧里。我不由得感嘆道，這就是差距��！不過根據課件上的英文，我還是認出了一些單詞。
選手的情況也不同：有的一口英語說得頭頭是道，聽得人一愣一愣的'；有的上了臺過于緊張，忘了詞，又下來整理整理思緒再上臺；也有的背得不錯，卻出了一點小插曲的……可謂是千姿百態(tài)。
選手們講的內容各不相同：有的流暢地講了那些經典的故事；有的介紹了自己喜歡的動物或東西；還有的講了自己從一句話或者一件事中感悟的道理……內容各不相同。
通過這次比賽，我深切地體會到了：人外有人，天外有天。我要更加努力地學習英語喲！
