army的用法高考英語詞匯詳解

　　1. 指“軍隊”，既指“軍隊”的總稱，也側重指“陸軍”。比較：navy 海軍 / air force 空軍

　　2. 用作主語，謂語動詞用單數(shù) 或復數(shù) 均可：

　　The army was [were] wiped out. 這支軍隊被消滅了。

　　3. “參軍”及相關說法有兩類，請注意區(qū)別：

　　join the army / go into the army / become a soldier / enter the army：它們均為終止性動詞，不能與一段時間連用。

　　be in the army / be a soldier：均說明狀態(tài)，可與一段時間連用。

　　他參軍10年了。

　　正：He joined [went into] the army ten years ago.

　　正：He has been in the army for ten years.

　　正：He has been a soldier for ten years.

　　誤：He joined [went into] the army for ten years.
