　　這學(xué)期我從農(nóng)村轉(zhuǎn)到了離石的和平實(shí)驗(yàn)小學(xué)。以前我從來沒學(xué)過英語，這學(xué)期和平實(shí)驗(yàn)小學(xué)開設(shè)了英語課，老師講的我一句也聽不懂，十分苦惱。我回到家對爸爸說：“我聽不懂老師說的英語�！卑职终f“不要緊，英語其實(shí)很簡單，我給你教。”

　　其實(shí)，爸爸讀書時(shí)英語也不怎么好，但為了給我補(bǔ)起來，，他買了英語磁帶、英語詞典，先自己學(xué)，然后給我教。首先，從最基本的'英文字母a、b、c、d……開始，爸爸讀一個(gè)，我跟著讀一個(gè)，開始我覺得很難學(xué)的，特別是“i”“r”這兩個(gè)字母怎么也讀不準(zhǔn)、分不清。后來，爸爸給我教了個(gè)辦法，小樹發(fā)芽是r，這樣我一下就分清了這兩個(gè)字母的讀音，等我會(huì)讀這些字母時(shí)，開始教我怎樣在英語本上寫，學(xué)會(huì)這些才教我學(xué)習(xí)單詞，爸爸把單詞歸了類。先教我1-10這十個(gè)數(shù)字的讀寫，再教星期的讀寫……學(xué)單詞可比學(xué)字母又難多了，一個(gè)單詞讀上三五次也讀不準(zhǔn)，但我們不放棄，反反復(fù)復(fù)的讀，直到讀會(huì)為止，讀會(huì)再教我背下這個(gè)單詞，爸爸要求我每天記兩個(gè)單詞。一有時(shí)間還要聽聽英語磁帶。

　　現(xiàn)在我覺的學(xué)英語不那么發(fā)愁了，而且學(xué)會(huì)了許多英語單詞。老師教過的單詞也能記下來，學(xué)過的課文也都會(huì)念了。

　　I had to work seven hours a day, which would last three weeks. The job was tiring and boring because I had to get up early and went to bed late. Every day I had to repeat the same work, which nearly made me mad. I almost gave it up, but finally I sticked it out until thenew semester began. The experience taught me a lesson that there is no free lunch.
